Cleanly Home Services cleans medical and dental offices across Victoria, BC, after hours or overnight while patients are gone. We clean exam rooms, waiting rooms, washrooms and high-touch surfaces, and we quote every clinic after a free site visit.

Your clinic sets its own cleaning rules. At the site visit, we agree on the checklist with you, including which surfaces your own staff handle between patients. Clinic cleaning is part of our commercial cleaning service in Victoria.

What do you clean in a medical or dental office?

Each clinic gets its own checklist. Most plans cover these areas:

We bring cleaning supplies as needed. If your clinic supplies its own disinfectant, we can use it.

What does BC guidance say about cleaning clinics?

PICNet and the BC Ministry of Health publish a quick reference guide for cleaning in clinic settings. It lists "counter tops, door knobs, light switches, phones, keyboards, mice, charts, waiting room chairs, public washrooms" as frequently touched surfaces. It sets their cleaning and disinfection at "at least once a day" (source).

The guide also says "floors and walls should be kept visibly clean and free of spills, dust and debris." It calls for disinfectants "approved by Health Canada with a Drug Identification Number (DIN)." Your clinic decides how it applies this guide. At the site visit, we set the schedule and checklist with you so our visits fit your plan.

How is clinic cleaning different from office cleaning?

Clinics have exam rooms, treatment chairs and busy waiting areas. The same BC guide says "all surfaces touched by the patient, or surfaces used during patient care should be cleaned and disinfected between patients," and names the work surface, exam table and treatment chair (source).

During clinic hours, your staff are the ones in the room between patients. Our after-hours visit covers the floors, washrooms, waiting areas, staff rooms and the rest of the checklist.

At the site visit, we also confirm how your clinic handles sharps and biomedical waste, and we write that into the checklist so everyone knows who does what.

When do you clean clinics?

We clean after hours or overnight, when the waiting room is empty. We are available 24/7, so we can fit around late appointments and weekend clinics. If your clinic runs a late evening shift, we start after the last patient leaves.

You choose how often we come: daily, a few times a week, or a custom schedule.

Who will clean our clinic?

Our team has more than 30 people. We send a crew of 2 to 5 cleaners, based on the size of the clinic. Every cleaner is background-checked. The whole team is WCB-covered, insured and bonded, and we can send proof of coverage on request.

We aim to send the same team on each visit, so your cleaners learn the layout and your clinic's checklist.

How do quotes and contracts work?

We do not post clinic cleaning prices. We visit your clinic for free, walk the space with you and agree on the scope. Then we quote an hourly rate or a flat monthly price.

You can sign month to month or for a longer term.

Common Questions

Medical & Dental Office Cleaning FAQs

Do you clean medical and dental offices in Victoria?

Yes. We clean medical and dental offices across Victoria and the rest of the Capital Regional District. We clean waiting rooms, exam and treatment rooms, washrooms, staff rooms and high-touch surfaces. Every clinic starts with a free site visit, where we agree on the checklist and schedule with you.

When do you clean our clinic?

We clean after hours or overnight, when patients and staff are gone. We are available 24/7, so we can work around late appointments and weekend hours. You choose a daily, weekly or custom schedule, and we confirm it at the site visit before the first clean.

Can you use our clinic's disinfectant?

Yes. We bring cleaning supplies as needed, but if your clinic wants us to use its own disinfectant or products, we will. Tell us at the site visit which products you use and where you keep them, and we will add that to your checklist.

How much does medical office cleaning cost?

We quote every clinic after a free site visit, so we do not publish prices. The quote depends on the size of the clinic, the number of rooms, how often we clean and what the checklist covers. After the visit, we send an hourly rate or a flat monthly price.

Are your clinic cleaners background-checked?

Yes. Every cleaner on our team is background-checked. We carry liability insurance and we are bonded, and every team member is covered by WorkSafeBC. We can send proof of coverage on request, so your clinic has it on file before we start.
